Masters of Education with Teacher Licensure, Alternative Pathway


This program is designed for candidates who currently teach or have secured a full time teaching position in a Colorado K-12 school. With proof of employment, candidates will work under an Alternative License (granted by the CDE) while completing online coursework. Alternative candidates are supported by a mentor, their principal, as well as Western faculty. After the first year, candidates are eligible for an initial teaching license and have the option to complete the masters degree. We also have options and pathways for working paraprofessionals
